Many thanks to our judge of the day, Sheila
Eggleston from Leicestershire, who had the enjoyable task of selecting the
winning sheep from a good line up at the show. Also to Brian Glaves from
Scarborough for judging the inter-breed group of three and the supreme
championship.
Congratulations to Matt Legge, who won breed champion and went on to win
reserve supreme champion, and to Diana Lindon who won the interbreed group of
three; out of a class of twenty something entries.

| As appalling as the weather was, nothing
could be done to deter the Suffolk breeders from putting up a good show this
year at Kent. Thanks go to Geane Ritchie for judging the Suffolk classes and
Michael Weaver for judging the interbreed classes, also to everyone who brought
Suffolks to the show for providing strong competition. Congratulations go to
Tom Blunt for winning champion Suffolk with his shearling ewe, which then went
on to become reserve supreme champion and to Tom Daborn for winning reserve
Suffolk champion with his untrimmed ewe lamb. |
