Dolphin Sheep Fair

South Eastern Area Suffolk Sheep Society Show & Sale of Rams

Held on Thursday, September 17th at The Showground, Ardingly.

Suffolks did well at the Sale, fetching the highest price of the day of £520 for A. Brown's shearling ram, with K. Manning's shearling ram, and ram lamb which was champion in the pre-sale show, and P.A. Rycraft's shearling ram, fetching £500, the second highest price of the day.

The judge of the pre-sale show was Ashley Ward. In the class for Best Suffolk Shearling Ram, First was P.A. Rycraft, Second Oathall College, Third P.A. Rycraft. In the class for Best Suffolk Ram Lamb, First (and overall champion) K. Manning; Second K. Manning.
