	Females and Males FOR SALE    Flock started in 2002 with a few selected females from Santon, Perrinpit and Hillend.  My aim has always been to breed strong meaty sheep. I have occasionally used AI from proven rams to put in new blood.  All the sheep have been reared on very light soil with no fertilizers or pesticides.    Having been in Suffolks for 40 years I have found them to be one of the few sheep capable of meeting market needs for twelve months of the year – whether it be as stores or for meat. The females from any cross make terrific breeding ewes. Above all, the end product – like all British breeds – must be their superior eating qualities.    Enquiries: Peter Rycraft 01428 717544 (Surrey) E-mails can also be sent care of: crew.ss@virgin.net            The flock was started in 1999 with 12 ewes from the Albany flock, which included ewes from the Sycamore flock and Slackadale flock. Having only a small farm with 10 horses at livery, the sheep are used mainly to keep the grazing in good order. Suffolk sheep were chosen for their quiet temperament and rapid growth rates.
